Prayer For The School Assembly

O Lord, help us with Your grace to begin, continue, and finish this work for Your greater honour and glory.
Enlighten our minds that we may understand what we are about to study, and apply ourselves diligently to the work in hand.
Lord, throughout this day, help us to be faithful to our duties, respectful and courteous to our teachers, companions, and everyone we meet.
Above all, keep us from offending You by our thoughts, words, or actions.
St. Ann, bless us, Your children. Look upon us with love and motherly care. Keep us pure now and always.

Prayer To ST. ANN

Dear St. Ann
Please pray with me to God
To grant me the grace
to be a true Annite
faithful in my duties at all times.

        Striving always for
        the highest standard
        in behaviour, sports
        and academic performance.

                Give me the love
                to be a caring person
                helpful to all
                especially to the poor,
                the weak and the disadvantaged.

                        Imbue me with the courage
                        to face and overcome
                        all difficulties and hardship
                        and the wisdom to tell
                        right from wrong.

                                Sustain me in all endeavours
                                that I may uphold the School Motto;
                                “SERVE WITH LOVE”
                                and always be true
                                and loyal to my Alma Mater
                                and my country.

A Teacher Prayer

Dear God, as I start a new class today, help me to be most kind in all I do and say.

May I respect each child entrusted to my care and plainly see in each child, you dwelling in them. Direct my teaching that I may be successful in guiding youthful souls to heaven and to Thee.

A Prayer Before Class

O God. from whom all wisdom and knowledge proceed, help me to do my studies well.
Open my mind to the truth, wipe out all my prejudices, let me not mistake fiction for facts and fanciful theories for science.
Make me diligent and constant in the pursuit of learning.
Give me an attentive mind, keen and alert, so that I can concentrate and grasp my lessons. Give me an eager mind to learn something new each day. And may my aim always be to pierce the veil of the visible world to reach you.
O Invisible Eternal, Unchangeable Truth.

A Prayer After Class

We give you thanks, Almighty God for all the benefits Thou has bestowed upon us.
O Lord, we are now going home, bless our parents, teachers and all those who have been good to us today.
Be with us till we reach home and protect us from accidents, sickness and misfortunes and keep us always safe in your loving care. Amen.
